Add-on activation should work on the Licenses page
Matheus Martins
When navigating to Donations > Settings > Licenses, I should be able to activate the add-on that I download.
For now, when I download an add-on and drag it to the activation section, I cannot activate it because the page freezes.

As of GiveWP 2.8.0, adding a license should no longer trigger a console error.

Status update: This will ultimately be addressed in GiveWP version 2.8.0.
Here's the long version of what's going on and why the team determined this to be not as urgent as initially suspected:
In WordPress version 5.5 a translation utility for text strings in JavaScript files was removed. GiveWP's notification handler uses that translation utility in displaying the notification related to licenses being updated/activated/etc.
So while the license _is actually activating_ the translation utility is breaking things and not displaying the notice of the activation's success or failure.
In the meantime between now and version 2.8.0,
wait a few seconds after clicking to activate a license, and then refresh the page
to see if the license shows as active.Kevin Hoffman
