Currently Apple Pay and Google Pay only work on the main site of a subdirectory multisite install.

The registration appears to work, but the button does not display on the form.

Happy to share this has been resolved in the new 2.4.0 release. Please update and let us know if you run into any issues!

I've added this to the list of things that the team is taking a look at this round, but (as always) can't guarantee a fix or a firm timeline.

We prioritize issues based on the number of votes (among other things!) and at this point there are only 3 reports of this issue.
