Donation Modules for Divi is causing issues with forms and Divi's Front End Editor

Having Donation Modules for Divi add-on activated can cause forms to spin endlessly. The add-on also causes the Divi front end editor to not work.
The workaround here is to deactivate the add-on and use shortcodes. Here is GiveWP's documentation on shortcodes: https://givewp.com/documentation/core/shortcodes/

Greetings! This has been resolved in GiveWP Divi 1.0.2. Please update and let us know if you run into further issues.

Our team is having a look at this. For now, the workaround is to use a shortcode (disable the Divi Modules add-on) for adding forms and other GiveWP elements to pages and posts.
Refer to our documentation explaining all of GiveWP's shortcodes: https://givewp.com/documentation/core/shortcodes/

Divi are saying that the divi givewp plugin is conflicting with the dynamic javascript libaries which are used for their performance update. When disabling that it works but without it, the site is slower and parts of divi don’t work properly. They said the give need to update their plugin to get them to work together.

Jason - can you give me the link the to the community groups for me--the only thing I saw was reports from January 2021, which I don't think are likely the issue now. The more information I can provide elegant themes (divi) the better.

Brad L: Sure! The support rep was finding issues raised in the FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/494980220631579

Jason Adams: Can you provide the link to the specific comment? The closest I came to finding what you are referring to is this: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DiviThemeUsers/posts/4237160036413560 And the problem reported was something specific in divi 4.13, while the problem with the givewp divi module was also in divi 4.12 as well as 4.13. Unfortunately, I can't rollback any farther on divi version.

Upon looking into this, it appears within the Divi community groups that something has broken with the front-end scripts in their latest versions — affecting more than just GiveWP. As such, we ask that you reach out to Divi and report the issue with them. If it comes back to be something we ought to change we'll be happy to do so.
