Our team is laser-focused on GiveWP 3.0 and the new visual form building experience. A part of that effort is getting Payment Gateway add-ons ready for the switch to the new version.
So, if we touch Braintree, it will be to make it ready for the new version.
We're prioritizing which gateways we update for 3.0 compatibility based on number of users and ease of making changes. Definitely vote here to see Braintree get some more attention.
At this point 2 votes in 6 months is not a good sign for urgency!
