Imported donations do not show up in the new reports

This occurs if the CSV does not include a Payment Method/Gateway column. Donations are assigned to a "Test Donation" gateway and this seems to be the cause of the issue.

Update: Including a "Payment method" column does not make a difference.

Hey Folks. Thanks to Craig for a workaround: 
Before you import a CSV of donations, add a column of "_give_payment_gateway" and for every donation, add a value of "manual _donation"
Then when you import it, it will have everything it needs to show up in the Reports. 
We're definitely still working on a fix here (these types of issues that are not preventing donations take a while to get prioritized) but that workaround should hold you in the meantime!

Imported donations do not seem to create a "_give_payment_meta" or "_give_payment_date" in the database where those entered manually or by a form do create it. Also, after the import it states that one more donation than in the external database has been imported and the donation_id skips a number. Hope this helps because I really need this function to work.

We've been able to reproduce this now, and are looking into the fix. No firm timeline, of course, but it's back on the table!

Issues like this that are not preventing donations or have a simple workaround are generally prioritized at the end of an 8 week development cycle, and then tested and released. That means it can be up to 10 weeks for issues like this to be resolved.
