Our team is stuck really between the host and the gateway at this point, as the code in question is included in the PHP SDK from PayPal, and not code that we wrote.

There's a chance that we could write a workaround for this, but it would not be simple to do, so we'd need it to be affecting more than a handful of folks.

The fastest workaround would be for the web host to enable that function. If they won't do that, the second fastest workaround would be to use a different Payment Gateway, or a different web host.

If enough folks report this, we can make it a priority from our side, but our workaround would essentially be a hacky way of making two third parties play nicely with one another. Also note that this is not the only issue we've run across with this particular host.
