Our team is still trying to isolate the exact cause of this issue.

For one, it's intermittent, and seems to only affect certain PayPal account types. On the other hand italso seems to have just started, and may be related to some change that PayPal made on their API.

We've isolated over the past week or so a way to more helpfully display an error in the event that the assets from PayPal do not load correctly, which at least would display a more helpful error message, but we're still at a loss as to what exactly would cause the issue in the first place.

For now, the only workaround is to use a more reliable Payment Gateway like Stripe.
