My client just requested this. They desire to start communicating to their donors via text. So I added a required mobile phone field when people donate (with a consent checkbox). They recently sent out an email to all their donors with a link to the donor portal saying donors can download their EndYear seasons (Tax Season is here). But! They could add, "And also update your Profile with your mobile phone number if we don't already have it." It's not possible for the Donor or my Client to add a phone number to any Donor's record. So yes, I am 400% on board with this request. Thank you 🙂

After a recent contact to support requesting this feature, we've queued it up to be prioritized along with other minor feature requests and fixes. There's no ETA yet, but we will update this thread if/when we plan to add it. Thanks!

The charity our agency is working with need certain custom options such as contact preferences (a legal requirement in the UK and Europe) and telephone numbers in their form so also require donors to be able to amend these values themselves in the donor dashboard.

Please either add custom fields to the dashboard or provide a hook for developers to add their own.

Our use case is that donors that fills a donation form with custom fields shouldn't repeat this action for every donation. If they are logged in, those data should be visible (and some of them editable) in the Donor Dashboard and therefore retrieved in the donation forms on the website.

The donor dashboard is where we redirect users after login.

We want to be able to present (signpost) their content via a custom tab on the donor dashboard. This would provide a better UX than having this content elsewhere on the page that contains the dashboard shortcode.

(I'd be happy with a code-based approach for this; it need not have an admin UI).

I want to add a “name on tax receipt” as sometimes the donor’s user full name does not include the entire name (we’re in Hong Kong, where some donor’s preferred names are English but legal names are Chinese).
