Ben Meredith we have noticed our dashboard suddenly translated well on our bilingual (Polylang) site. Dutch site gives a dashboard in Dutch and English site in English, without the need for extra code. Thanks for the work on this! We appreciate it: looks much more professional this way to our Dutch users.

if you are looking for minor niggles to further improve it: everything seems well-translated, except the items on the donation receipts in the dashboard, things like "Donor name", "Email address", "Payment method" etc + the entries there (e.g. "complete" for a complete donation) ---> all of these are still in english, also on the Dutch part of our site. But this is a small thing: thanks again for making this work

Another small niggle: the dashboard login screen is also still in English on our Dutch site

i'd just like to add to this that we used to use WPML but stepped away from it because it slowed our site massively. We are now using Polylang. Please make sure the Donor Dashboard translation also works with Polylang!

WPML ist very important

Our team is looking into this. Part of the issue here is that the Donor Dashboard is currently translatable, but not fully compatible with WPML and some other multilingual solutions. The line between our responsibility and the multilingual plugin's responsibility is a bit blurry here.
Issues like this that are not preventing donations or have a simple workaround are generally prioritized at the end of an 8 week development cycle, and then tested and released. That means it can be up to 10 weeks for issues like this to be resolved.

Ben Meredith: Thanks for the reply and I understand. I also brought the issue up with WMPL and they are looking into it as well. I fully translated GiveWP .po file but everything except the donnors dashboard get's recognized.

Ben Meredith: Hi Ben, i got your solution via the GiveWP support, involving the js file etc , as shown here: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cr1iYHVh552 However, the big issue with this solution is that it translates the Donor Dashboard to a different language for the whole site. It is not possible to do this just for 1 language. So our platform, for example, is bilingual, Dutch and English. So for Dutch people we need the Dashboard in Dutch, and for English speakers in English. But this is currently not possible using your solution, it has to be either in Dutch or in English for all users!
