Have an option to mark some "donations" as not tax deductible

As a site admin I'd like the option to mark some "donations" as non tax-deductible and have that reflected on their Annual Receipt.
An example:
We have people that purchase raffle tickets, merchandise, pay adoption fees, etc that are not tax deductible but are setup through our website so it shows under their donor profile.
Is there a way to mark these as non-tax deductible so it doesn't show up on their year end statement?

This is an interesting feature request for sure! Currently we assume nothing about tax deductible status when a donation comes in, essentially assuming that any donations to a tax-exempt organization are equal.
Giving users the ability to distinguish between types of donations would be fairly powerful, for sure. I'm interested in building exactly what users envision here, so this feedback post is a great spot to pass along more details as to exactly how you would envision that feature working. Would this be a per-form setting where any donation to the form is classified as tax deductible, or would this somehow be changeable after the fact?
What are the dealbreakers that would make this feature usable or not? Comment and vote here.

YES! We need this -- we are a nonprofit in the US and while donations are tax deductible, we also use GiveWP to sell tickets and merchandise and we need a way to mark these as non tax-deductible on Annual receipts.

Some non profit churches in US don't even have 501c3 status, so it would be good for them as well.

Ben Meredith: Well, there is two things that comes to mind here. 1: Let the donor know the particular donation is not tax deductible and what is. 2: And and year end report of both so the donor can see what what where given specially helpful for donors IRS tax reports (Ex 1000 usd 800 is deductible and 200 is non deductible.)
NB: maybe also special note for church or groups that don't have 501c3 status. (most of those churches and groups don't get taxed but donors can't claim deductions on their taxes.)
I believe for most it will be per form as this is already known upfront. Like ticked for a show for your donation you would sell those tickets knowing you can't deduct them. For churches situation it would be global setting.
