I would really like this feature as its important to have a start date for recurring donations. That way we can plan ahead.

We'd love to see this feature! People often choose to donate in the moment but want control over payment dates. If they have to come back at a later date to get the payment date they want, they may not come back at all.

More than one of our Donors has requested to set the date for their recurring donation. It is frustrating them that they can not set the date. Is there anything you can do as we are losing potential donors?

I agree- as a charity, we would very much like to set a date for recurring donations such as membership and our donors are requesting it as well. Thanks!

I'm not sure if the difficulty comes from the other processors, but Stripe support has helped me identify how it would be possible on their end here: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/billing-cycle#using-a-trial-to-change-the-billing-cycle

'trial_end' would just need to be formatted as a unix timestamp.

Any updates here? Maybe a timeline or at least a response from the team?

This is a huge pain point for our team as donor care get asked this frequently - to the point where the team wants us to switch off GiveWp and move to another platform so that this is possible.
