Sell "Tables" that decrease from a global event inventory number.

1 Ticket would decrease global inventory by 1.

1 Table would decrease global inventory by 10 (or whatever you set it to).

The event being sold out would be determined by the total of both instead of per-line inventory.

I know this is much more complicated than inventory per ticket type, but I think this would be very useful for the non-profit specific user base of GiveWP.

Example:

I have a room with a capacity of 200 and we're selling single tickets for $500 and tables of 10 for $4000 - we could sell 1 table and 190 tix, 10 tables and 100 single tix, etc. Putting an inventory cap on either line item risks turning away sales before the room is actually at capacity. No inventory cap risks overselling the event.
