As an admin, I need to store what payment method was used when the donor uses Stripe Payment Elements. For example, store Apple Pay, Klarna, Credit Card, SEPA, and so on.

This is needed both for front-end users: displayed in the donation confirmation screen, email receipts, etc.
And for the backend: stored on the donation record, passed through the Zapier/Webhook plugins.
Without being able to differentiate between and account for the many different payment methods available via the Payment Element, we'll have to stay on 2.x forms.
