Gift Aid donations don't process in Legacy template using default address

Donations will not process on the Legacy template if the donor opts in for Gift Aid and chooses to use the billing address as the Gift Aid address ("Please use the billing details address").

The workaround, for now, is to use a different form template.

Hi GiveWP Team,
It would be helpful if you can give us an update on this issue.
This should be set as priority.
I know at least 10 charities who don't even know this is happening with their donation forms.
And like Claire's comment ... this problem is causing a huge amount of loss for charities. As most donations are being processed as without giftaid. 
The alternative (classic / multi step) is okay but for user experience they are not good at all.
Please please set this as priority and get it sorted.

Is there an update on this as it's a loss of income whilst we aren't automatically collecting Gift Aid declarations?

Sorry Rick but not in my experience. With GiftAid 1.4.1 it failed repeatedly with both Legacy and Multi-step. Error first arose testing a Multi-step. Did NOT happen before 1.4.1 update. On another site I still had version 1.3 running so took a copy and installed on the problem site, and hey presto all is good again. BUT we still need a solution, and a reason why. Please can this be rectified as a matter of priority.
I first though this an isolated issue with one website but this is an issue with every website (7 in total)
It has massively impacted our donations as some of custom forms we built using legacy forms have completely stopped working.
Unfortunately, we can't just transfer them to classic or multiple step forms as the customisation was done for legacy form and it will take weeks before creating a new customisation for other form types.
Please HELP!
