deleting donors and donations both gives gives a fatal error on PHP8. The donations do end up getting deleted (despite the error), the donors do not.

This has been resolved in GiveWP version 2.15.0! Please update to that version, and let us know if you have further issues.

This is also something we're taking a look at, but like other PHP 8 issues, we are not "dropping everything" to work on it.

Issues like this that are not preventing donations or have a simple workaround are generally prioritized at the end of an 8 week development cycle, and then tested and released. That means it can be up to 10 weeks for issues like this to be resolved.
