Before hitting continue and entering personal information I'd like to know how much I'm donating. Adding a sub-total would be really helpful

Perhaps I'm missing a trick, but all I have managed to do is add an event block to a form; it doesn't link to the payment total, e.g. select 2 tickets and the total doesn't show up. How do I achieve this, please?
