Ability to redirect to a different page upon completed donation with all templates

Right now it is not possible to direct the user to something like a video or a thank you letter after they made the donation using the multi-step form. In the least, the provision of a snippet that can force a redirect after the donation would be fine too.
Currently, it is possible to redirect a donor to a custom thank you page with the receipt shortcode using the Per Form Confirmations addon with the legacy template. It would be ideal to extend that addon to the multi-step template as well.
This is also important for the functioning Google Analytics and other UTM tracking.

Hi folks,
For the legacy form templates, it's already possible using the free Per Form Confirmations add-on to direct users to a different confirmation page, per form: https://wordpress.org/plugins/per-form-confirmation-pages-for-givewp/
This request is essentially to extend that plugin to also cover the multi-step form. We're evaluating that as a possibility, and will keep this thread updated with the latest.

When we made the Visual Form Builder the default editor for GiveWP in version 3.16.0 on August 28, 2024, we included an option to redirect to the donation confirmation page instead of displaying confirmation inside the form. This option will help with Google Analytics and other UTM tracking.
We are not updating the older form templates at this time. If you need this feature, we recommend updating GiveWP to the latest version and using the Visual Form Builder.

Angela Blake What about the possibility to use a custom page on a per-form basis as with the "Per Form Confirmations" add-on? Specific forms should have specific confirmation pages...
Angela Blake
Marco Principia: That's definitely on the list as well. We're considering whether to make that add-on compatible with the Visual Builder or just build the feature in.

We would like this too, please.

The ability to define a specific landing page on completion of a donation is so fundamental, I'm not grasping how it can be "under review". Can you tell us when it's going to happen, please.

Yes, we desperately need the ability to redirect to different custom URL's upon completion with all templates. The legacy forms give us the ability to, with high accuracy, track donations on a per-form basis when each form goes exclusively to its own custom URL confirmation page. The only way we've found to, with high accuracy, track our social media advertising efforts is to have custom URL confirmation pages with a FB/IG/GL pixel on each of those pages that fires back when a donation is made.
Not having the ability to send per-form confirmation traffic to custom URL is the only thing keeping us from more broadly adopting the new form builder and even the multi-step forms. The only form design that allows this higher level of advertised tracking is the legacy form design. It would be devastating for us if that ever went away, without replacing the per-form custom URL feature.

Redirect to specific thank you page for each module
Good Shepherd International Foundation
I would like to have the ability to redirect users to a specific thank you page on the website after a donation, specifically for each module, rather than using Give WP's global setting. This would allow for a more personalized experience for our donors.

Redirect to homepage after donation completion

When a donation is completed, it currently does not redirect back to the homepage. It would be beneficial if the system could automatically redirect donors to the homepage upon completion of their donation.

Ability to redirect to an external page upon completed donation with the Multi-Step and Classic Template

As a site owner I'd like the ability to redirect a donor after a completed donation to any page of my choosing, including external pages.

Along with Redirect and Share Blocks, it would be great to pass form fields as query parameters to be used on the Thank You page and/or by other plugins such as Form plugins i.e. ?first=devyn&last=brugge

It would be really great if this was changed to allow the campaign manager to choose to redirect (and possibly a new block to add the share widgets from that form to the Thank You page)

A top five request! I'd love to see this happening soon :)
