Allow admins to customize Authorize.net transaction description

Currently, Authorize.net transactions have a generic description of "Donation". It would be helpful to be able to customize this text via a filter.

Our team is having a look at this. We need at least to restore the functionality we had in version 1.x, and that's the short term goal. No promises on timeline, but this is more than a "we'll get to it when we can" type of issue, but also less than a "drop everything and fix it" issue.
In the meantime, you'll need to cross-reference between the gateway record and the GiveWP record.
