As an Admin, I'd like to place custom form fields from the Form Field Manager add-on in different sections of the form simultaneously rather than in just 1 section of the form, so that I can add the custom fields in the section that is more intuitive based on context.

Ian Anderson: Legacy forms are not going anywhere. The question of "will functionality to build a form with the new form builder that results in the legacy template being used" is one I don't know the answer to, but exactly the type of feedback we are looking to collect and answer at the town hall meeting. Definitely attend and ask!

Yes, this would be great! We're looking specifically for this feature so we can map a comment custom form field into our Stripe metadata for our staff as they process donations within Stripe.

This is a longstanding request for Form Field Manager and something we definitely need to take a look at. I'm going to put together some things for our team to consider in making this feature a reality. Vote here and give as much context as possible for us to understand how you'd like to see this feature used.

Ben Meredith: great to know you are looking at this. For us, we'd love as much flexibility as possible with custom fields. So being able to move them around individually above and below other fields would be really helpful.
