Donation levels should support text/descriptions(Multi-step + Classic Form)

As an admin, I'd like to display a description of the donation amount for the level ($5, $10, $15, etc) instead of it only being available as a tooltip.
I'd like to have the option of using the tool tip OR adding the text directly to the button.
An interest example with a donation level slider: https://www.samaritans.org/donate-now/

Word, not just amount, labels on donation levels

In a multilevel form, I have dozens of clients that need to label the donation amount buttons with words, not just the amount. This is especially important for organizations that are collecting membership donations and need to make clear what the membership levels are such as Individual, Family, Business, Sustainer, Benefactor, etc.

Hi folks! Version 3.12.0 of GiveWP core now allows for descriptions in addition to donation levels for Visual Form Builder (VFB) forms only.
Before updating, I highly recommend taking a good backup of the site you can confidently restore from. Having a backup of your site is essential to a solid workflow, and will allow you to restore to a previous version of the site if you run into any issues. You can read more about our top recommendations for taking a backup here: https://givewp.com/backup-for-faster-troubleshooting/

Alex Coleman Great news. I've just tested it. I would strongly recommend to work on the layout. The only chance at the moment is to have a "lef-right" layout on desktop and a "top-bottom" on mobile. This is very limited in my humble opinion. Most of the (best) cases would need the amount description to be at the bottom of all the levels, enriched with an image or nicely formatted.

Marco Principia Thanks for the feedback! I've pinged to team about this already 😊.

Donation levels options

In the older form, we could add some text description (option) for each Donations level, which appeared as Tooltips.
In the Give 3.0 version, we can only fill amounts but no longer text.
Has it been forgotten ?
Tx a lot and congratulations for this new amazing version :)

Yes, please. Text next to the donation levels will be beneficial.

Allow text in the amount buttons for Visual Form Builder Forms
Alex Coleman
As a site owner I believe that allowing text (as opposed to just numbers) in the amount buttons for Visual Form Builder forms would help our fundraising efforts by giving our donors additional information/encouragement.
An example would be "$50 provides X Meals" is far more informative that just $50.

Persistent level description text

I liked being able to put some text with each of my donation amounts, but it’s not helpful that the text doesn’t automatically show up with the amount.
On desktop I have to hover over the buttons to see the descriptions; on mobile I have to click a button to see the description.

Sometimes I really struggle to find the ratio behind some choices. Having text and images for donation levels is a standard for fundraising in every single country on this planet. To be honest, I find very hard to wrap my mind around the reason why the "Next Gen Form" (?!?!) decides to remove a fundamental feature, which was already very clumsy (basically useless on mobile), instead of taking it to the "Next Level".

Non monetary donation labels

I would like to be able to modify the donation levels labels, either directly on the button or in a hover over feature, to non-monetary text. For example, in my business, $25 = 1 quilt square, $50 = 2 quilt squares, etc. I would like the donation buttons to say "1 quilt square" or "2 quilt squares" rather than the monetary equivalent.
