Option to delete Peer to Peer Campaigns

We're building Campaigns for GiveWP core and thinking about how we will handle all types of Campaigns going forward, including Peer-to-Peer Campaigns. We're planning an Archive feature which, while it won't delete a Campaign, will aid management. We're also considering how to handle the data associated with these campaigns.
We'll let you know when these features are available for Peer-to-Peer Campaigns. Until then, this post will remain Open.

I agree. I would like to clean up my screen and delete campaigns that were just rough drafts

Hi folks! This does seem like a simple thing to implement, but in reality deleting things is rife with complications that can have unintended consequences.
Questions like
- What happens to donors connected to deleted campaigns?
- What happens to donations connected to deleted campaigns?
- What happens to fundraisers connected to deleted campaigns?
- What happens to teams connected to deleted campaigns?
We take data integrity very seriously and would want to have a solid plan.
Of course, the workaround for now is that you can set Campaigns to "draft" status which effectively removes them from the front end of the site.

Ben Meredith I understand and appreciate the dependencies and issues it causes, however if this is the case there needs to be archiving functionality for inactive campaigns which hides them from the active campaigns list. Perhaps have an option to hide the inactive campaigns. The key is to declutter and only have active campaigns visible, which can be easily achieved in comparison to deleting them. Perhaps a feature request.

Punit Govind: Hi! I'm the Product Owner for GiveWP, and I plan & organize work for development. I've been reviewing this request recently, trying to determine how we can best serve this need. An Archive feature may be more likely than the option to Delete. However, I need to gather some requirements and expectations before I can consider it for development.
Beyond removing the campaign from the website and hiding it from the list of campaigns in admin, are there any other options you'd expect to have? Or anything else you'd expect to happen?
Feel free to follow up with a reply here! Thanks.
