The Google Analytics add-on should support a way to differentiate one-time from recurring donations

As an admin, it's important for me to see which donations were one-time donations and which ones were recurring donations in my Google Analytics dashboard.

Our team is open to looking into how this might be accomplished, and we're interested in more votes and comments here to determine priority.

We are very excited to share this has been resolved in the new GiveWP Google Analytics 2.0.0 release. Note, due to limitations, that has only been done for GA4, not UA, as part of the new GA4 compatibility.
Please update and let us know if you run into any issues!

yes would be great if we split out A) donation revenue, B) nr of donations, C) nr of donors according to being one-time vs. recurring

yes this would be great, especially if there was some way to pass data about renewals of recurring donations also to Google Analytics, so that we can analyse there the revenue both from one-time donations and from recurring donations

This is a really valuable element to track for our charity client as it makes a huge difference to their total donations they're receiving and shows a very different behaviour from donors.
Do we know if we're any closer to implementing this?

Any update here lovely GiveWP team?
Having worked with many 3rd sector/fundraising orgs I can confirm that they are deeply interested in this data. It's a big admin overhead to cross tab raw donation data with GA data. Teams need to know which journeys and content produced an ongoing commitment vs a one off donation. Steers future content and campaign design.
Furthermore, fundraising teams should think more and more about monetary support as ecomm products so having a taxonomy viewable in GA is increasingly important.
I understand a current workaround is to have two separate forms but the UX isn't great there. Keen to hear your thoughts.

This is getting some attention which is great. Can we implement this feature to your current add-on

Very surprised that this is not already included. Committed gifts are so much more valuable than one-offs, so being able to distinguish between the two is critically important.

Function absolutely needed please.
